Second Annual Car Show to benefit the Prompton Fire Company. Great cars, food, and music. Spend the entire day at the Prompton State Park, check out the fishing, trails and disc golf opportunities.

The Prompton Community United Methodist Church will be sponsoring a Fisherman’s Breakfast on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 6 AM to 10 AM.  Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children.  Tickets will be available at the door.

The Local Housing Options Team, a subcommittee of the Wayne County Quality Council will be conducting a street count of unsheltered homeless people in Wayne County on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.

Teams of professionals and volunteers will be conducting interviews, providing emergency referrals, and other outreach services.  The county is asking for assistance in identifying probable locations where unsheltered individuals and families may reside in the borough.  In particular they are looking for people who are living in places unfit or unsafe for human habitation such as tents, garages, the street, wooded areas, campgrounds, under bridges, abandoned buildings, or in vehicles.
